Hello.... Kitty!

Hello Ladies!

I'm back with another cake I made last night. This time it was a small Hello Kitty Cake! I thought it came out adorable! And the person I made it for LOVED IT! Fun Cakes and Cupcakes!

I have had one busy weekend. I have 4 cakes to make and 24 cupcakes.. but the great thing is that I finished 2 cakes and the cupcakes already.. and the other 2 cakes I don't have to make until tmw. Yay! Well, here's what I created.

Then I was also able to work on my cake pops! Delicious!!!!!!!!!!

My other two cakes will be so cool! But I definitely had a grand blast with these. Thanks for stopping by! :o)

A Lot of Cupcake Goodies

I was very very busy this past weekend with a lot of cupcakes! But they came out fab and SOOOO delish!

I did three sets of cupcakes in the last couple of weeks and I'm here to share them. The first set was a girly set. They had Cheetah pink paper wrappers and hot pink and white icing! Yum!!!!!!!

The second set were simple cupcakes with a touch of summer. Perfect for the fam that came over to swim!

And the last and final set were these adorable cupcakes (76 of them to be exact). They were so GOOOOD! And they just looked so fab!

Cakes, Cakes and Cupcakes!

Hi Everyone! I've been so out of the loop it's not even funny. I haven't scrapped much other than a card here and there for a birthday or something. I am SO ready for this year to end.. 2011 has been something else. I'm just happy God is by my side, as well as my family and friends.

I have been baking though.. and I've made some cakes that I wanted to share with you. I hope I get to scrapping soon.. the motivation isn't there right now though :o(

Just in Time for Summer

I made a very adorable Hawaiian Luau Cake this weekend that I wanted to share with you. It was a 14in., 10 in, and 6 in. It came out perfect for a little 2 year old.

This weekend I will be making a Father's Day Cake. I will also be making another LUAU cake in two weeks! So Stay tuned!!

Baking Baking and More Baking!

Woo Hooo! I finished all three cakes! The first one was the turtle! And I'm sooo happy to announce that the person that ordered it LOVEDDDDD IT! Yay! It was Chocolate cake with chocolate filling! Yumm!

The next cake was Half Spongbob and Half Tom and Jerry! Both layers were yellow cake with strawberry! And the Pineapple was also edible.

And last but not least the Runner Cake! I loved how this one came out.

I'm so happy all enjoyed their cakes! And that they were all satisfied with my work!Thanks for stopping by! And More fun caks to come!

Using My MS Cricut Cake

So I finally used my Cricut Cake. I was so nervous that either I wouldn't know how to use it or that I would be dissapointed with it, but nonetheless, IT WORKED GREAT. I'm making 3 (YES! I SAID 3!!!) cakes this weekend and I needed some of the figures for one of the cakes in gumpaste and to harden by the time I add them to the cake.

I'm making:

1. Turtle Cake
2. Half Tom and Jerry Half Spongebob Tiered cake
3. Runner Tiered Cake

So this little guy was made for the topper of the Runner Cake. I can't wait until all 3 cakes are finished. Here's the process I did.

I used the Martha Stewart Cricut Cake with the Going Places Cartridge

I got 1 part gumpaste to 1 part chocolate fondant

I mixed it ver well until it was an even color and soft

I used the Cricut Cake brush to add on some shortening onto my mat

I rolled the fondant/gumpaste thinly.

I then put it on my mat and cut the image I wanted

Here's the cut image. I cut the image twice.

I then added toothpicks and layered the running man.

I can't wait to show you the finished products! I'm so excited! By the way if you don't have the Cricut Cake Tool Set I really recommend it. HSN has it on clearance for 17.95 plus shipping. My total was about $25!
