I'm making:
1. Turtle Cake
2. Half Tom and Jerry Half Spongebob Tiered cake
3. Runner Tiered Cake
So this little guy was made for the topper of the Runner Cake. I can't wait until all 3 cakes are finished. Here's the process I did.
I used the Martha Stewart Cricut Cake with the Going Places Cartridge |
I got 1 part gumpaste to 1 part chocolate fondant |
I mixed it ver well until it was an even color and soft |
I used the Cricut Cake brush to add on some shortening onto my mat |
I rolled the fondant/gumpaste thinly. |
I then put it on my mat and cut the image I wanted |
Here's the cut image. I cut the image twice. |
I then added toothpicks and layered the running man. |
I can't wait to show you the finished products! I'm so excited! By the way if you don't have the Cricut Cake Tool Set I really recommend it. HSN has it on clearance for 17.95 plus shipping. My total was about $25!
Thanks for stopping by!
Happy Baking!

I will definitely buy the Cake tool set....Lacey is having some trouble and getting frustrated. I keep thinking it's the fondant. First we made our own but it was too runny. I bought some at Wal Mart but it still didn't cut very well for her. She's getting frustrated :( so I'll have her check out your blog to keep her motivated!! Can't wait to see the finished cakes!!
Sooooooooooooooooo cool!! :):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):)
I would love to see the final product. My daughter is wanting a cricut cake. Keep me informed on how you are doing with it. I might just get her one for christmas. Victoria :)
